Sony Vs Soundcore

“Druig” is the nickname I gave my Xm4’s

So many Bluetooth earphones are out there today. Everything from Jabra, Apple, Master and Dynamics, Soundcore, Sony, etc..etc. Each brand is promising to be something better than the others. I have tried them all. From the least to the greatest. Why… mostly because of God has granted me the ability to do so, and secondly because tech is addictive. And for me, music and sound are at my very top of all things Tech. Music is my weapon and tool against so many things that can go wrong. It provides me with a way of escape and strength during times of weakness. So, you can truly understand why earphones are so important to me. So, testing out many different brands and hype is my thing, and because of this, I am able to tell others of my findings and my thoughts. But, over the course of testing and watching others, I’ve noticed that many people get informed wrongfully about a product simply because a product is cheaper.

Such is the case with the new Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro’s. These earphones are truly worth their asking price. They deliver good battery life, good sound, good features, and look good while coming in at only $170. Putting it frankly, it’s the best at its price range for Bluetooth. It has an amazing app that is well done and is very comfortable to wear. Hence the title Best Value earphone. But what others need to understand is that this doesn’t mean that the earphones are the absolute best period. So many people tried to take to the youtube world and claim that these earphones are better than the Sonys xm4’s.

Well, let’s get this out of the way right now so I can get back to listening to music. The simple answer(omg…the Sony’s after all this time being out…still are the very best..period). Long answer…

1. LDAC support doesn’t mean it’s on the same level. (Soundcore 3 pros can only handle a lower bit rate LDAC before they start stuttering out while the Sony’s handle whatever bitrate is set for it).

2. The battery life on paper for the 3 pros aren’t what they promised,( some reports are that they might get 4.5 hours out of the 8 promised if you use any feature like AnC and or LDAc)

3. Sound quality….I’m sorry, but the Xm4’s are far superior to the 3 pros…which sound like they are in a concert hall for all genres of music playback. While some may think this is acceptable…it isn’t as the tonality is nowhere near what the Sonys delivers on.

4. Just because something has ANC doesn’t mean they are on equal ground with others. The Sony’s ANC is vastly superior in every way to the Soundcore. When you need the world to disappear … The Sonys accomplish in a superior manner while the soundcore does it decently; there is a difference.

At the end of the day, you have to make your own mind up. I would say to watch out for the latest hotness that is overhyped on the YouTube world. They are normally either not what they have been said to be or just set up to cause people to buy something new when other products are still better. If you want the Best in the world to date for Bluetooth earphones…it’s still Sony’s game to lose with the XM4’S lineup for both headphones and earphones. No guessing is needed. But if you are looking for the best value for your money, the one that will be good for sound while being comfortable for fit and you don’t want to spend a lot…the Soundcore is your ticket then.
