Look guys life is strange they say all the time. I thought I would have learned my lesson by now but I’m just as addicted as the rest of you I guess. In 2021, quite possibly the best all-around earphone in the world was released for under $200. I knew and the reviewers knew it. However, because more earphones came out with shiny new paper around the package we fool ourselves into believing that somehow we needed a new 2022 model to justify sound to ourselves. Because obviously, they are better because they are the more expensive earphones and or newest versions.
I mean come on, it’s not like the old 2021 Soundcore liberty 3 pro can compete with the 2022 earphones in battery life ( oh wait…they can). Well …we know we just spent $400 on that Bang and Olufsen EQ and EX earphones that everyone says are the best-sounding earphones in the world. They have a high price tag so they have to be better. Oh..wait…just finished up reviewing them and they are a joke compared to the Soundcore liberty 3 pros. Yes, I fail for the lies about the Bang and Olufsen only to find out that they are nothing compared to the Liberty 3 pros in sound quality, in-app features, phone quality, ANC, or anything else. Trust me when I tell you, people, the vast amount of issues something like the BEOPLAY earphone put the user through is a freaking disaster. And when you buy them all you want to do is look over their failures because you need to justify your money laid down. But when you are honest about the fact that neither never prove themselves in anything from ANC, features, touch controls, phone quality issues, all the way to the basics of battery life lies they lay down it’s no wonder why nobody wants to buy their products, forcing discounted prices.
And what really made me want to kick myself was the number of actual migraine headaches I was going through trying to justify having all these other headphones because they didn’t bother putting in air pressure vents like the Soundcore Liberty 3 pro’s have. Yes, there is a hand full of other brands that do this but not enough of them. So I not only tried to justify to myself the cost of the product vs the reality of its sound and features not even getting close to the justification, but I had kicked myself for the nights I suffered in pain trying to force myself to use these products desperately seeking validation of the cost and looking for what everyone else claimed they heard but wasn’t there for me.
No, no no…I never needed anything more, was the truth. A LDAC killer sound quality and volume power, pitch-perfect voice tonality, amazing mids with lovely separation, and a very expansive soundstage with crisp Highs. Throw in possibly the best portable case still on the market today, nice battery life, custom controls for everything from touch controls to ANC levels, and possibly the most intensive EQ presentation ever in earphones …all for $170…ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Going through all the other earphones to end up right back here was like destroying my house, looking for my keys when my car is already started, and waiting outside with the keys in the ignition. I could have saved so much time and needless energy if I just stayed put. I feel so stupid going through all of this but at least I learned from it.
