All these years and all the purchases and video reviews on the planet I’ve seen pretty much amounts to jack crap. You can scream to you are blue in the face and it doesn’t change a thing. It doesn’t matter how many reviewers said anything different about any other brand. It doesn’t matter if you have both and can verify and dispute for yourself. The World has informed us over and over that they all believe the AirPods are the best earphones in the world. If you believe in reviews as your judgement…then there is but one thing more defining, one’s wallet.
You can not dispute the unbiased truth of the matter that Apple has the best earphone on the planet and with the release of the latest integration of it, it’s only going to get better. I’m talking about a 20 billion in revenue product cash in with another 100 million on track to sell this year. Let your head wrap around that for a bit. There is not a single thing on the planet of earphones that is more dominating than this product. Not the Sonys, not the Samsungs, and or anything else even gets close. In fact the Beats lineup is the only other product that is remotely in the second spot and Apple owns them as well.
I feel really stupid when I think about how many times I have claimed or deemed something the King of earphones when they never even gain a glimpse of the mindshare or flat out revenue cash in as the AirPods. And being away from the Apple eco system and returning I’m blown away at just how fast these earphones have turned into crack for me. Sure I have other earphones that might have better bass or better apps. But what they don’t have is integrated root DNA into the OS like Apple. Everything they do supports and furthers the Apple way of doing things and ultimately ends up making the user experience irreplaceable. So for users of the Apple products…especially the AirPods, it’s not about having the best 1 thing it’s about having the best overall thing. And for all those of you that will say… it’s not about what’s sells the most, stop it. Because any person that debates this will turn right around and justify reviews on a product to prove their opinion is right and that is no different from someone else using their wallet and the wallets of others to prove their point with the sales numbers. Both go by the majority rules the opinion stance.
In fact …the real truth of the matter is that there has not been a more used, more purchased, more influential product since the original iPhone. And I, for one, have missed this type of integration of tech and partnership. The iPhone 14 pro and the AirPods Pro Gen2 are my new favorite products. And frankly put… there is no better paring of products in history that could outplay the combo Apple has between these products. The sound quality, spatial audio, and many other options for the earphones are at the top and or tied with anything I’ve heard. The ANC is my absolute favorite in the world with how it comes on and blocks. The venting is my favorite and provides way more balance in pressure than anything prior. And then when you give this a 6 hours battery life with ANC…not very many earphones do this. Finally size and fit. It’s an outright crime the way these things fit me and rest in pockets. It’s like it’s not even there …in ears or in pocket. They just blend in better than anything.
