Headphones for gaming have all failed me somehow. Either they have crap sounds geared for only treble sounds too much with very little bass, fit is horrible, too tight, or flat out painful, have connection issues, or cost way too much. For the first time in my gaming years I have a great balance of all that I need in gaming for my console or pc. The Inzone lineup by Sony is geared to immerse the gamer into the sound and take them away from the world outside their game. The H7 is my choice of versions to do this with. Sony does make a cheaper model that is wired and a more expensive model with ANC. I went with the H7 because it was the best of both worlds. It provided Natural NC that blocks out of sound with the doomed ear-cups provide, naturally. This makes the need for ANC irrelevant. It also contains more battery life than the ANC version as well. And as far as the H3 version…the h7 is wireless compared to the wired h3.

Now with the choice of which one out of the way, the question is why the Inzone vs other earphones comes up. For me it comes down to the most important things for earphones for gaming …sound, fit, reliability. For starters…the sound is very good and rich. The words and details are nice and crisp along with a very deep punch for bass when designed to be there. Other earphones like the Steel Series have the bad habits of gearing only towards treble sounds over any balance of bass or have reliability issues with people not having the ability to use them for longer than a year. And if you pick something like the Sony pulse headphone they feel like someone put two bricks around your ears and squeezed them together. Other headphones have this same illness about their design as well but I’m very happy to say this couldn’t be further from the truth about the Inzone Headphone lineup. These things feel so relaxing, soft, and perfectly weighted for long gaming hours. And with 40 hours of battery life .. it is needed.

As far as feel… I always fell so special when I put them on because it feels so luxurious. Easily one of the very best feeling gaming headphones in headphone history. Even beating things like Astros, hyper x, snd others as well. Sony just nailed this lineup for comfortable design and spacious ear-cups with perfect overall weight that doesn’t bring pressure anywhere on your head, face, or ears. It’s literally a perfect fit for my head. I wouldn’t be able to design these headphone to fit any better than it does and I’ve never said that about any gaming headphone. And they not only feel good wearing them but the soft touch plastic feels really nice to touch and hold in your hands too. I would just be careful not to get them around dirt and food that might stain them being white and all.
Bottom line…you can put these up against them all and what you will find out is that the H7 is as close to perfection as any gamer will ever need unless they need a headphone to use outside on a train..then you might need the H9 or a smaller headphone design. But for me the H7 is the best I’ve ever had and felt for gaming sound, comfort, reliability, and use.
