As fanboys gather and fight over their belief on the Activision deal of Microsoft one thing is perfectly clear, Microsoft and Activision will join as one. Despite Sonys attempt, the 70 billion dollar deal will go through because nothing Sony has a concern over holds water and they don’t have enough power worldwide to stop it. All of PlayStation concerns are based solely on them wanting to protect their position as leader. Nothing they are doing is for the gamer despite the lies they tell to the contrary. They are the company that lies the most and yet million of people justify their lies simply because they like the games they produce. Even I have a ps5 and solely stand with them as my console now after 4 failed Xbox series x’s in two year. So I personally could care less about Microsoft or Sonys stance or concerns about Activision. But nevertheless the conclusion is undeniable. What I will say is that when this does go through, the so called rumors about more buy outs for Microsoft is unlikely to be successful thanks to the attention this merger got. I think it will be very difficult for them to get away with another purchase because all of the defense is based on their position as market leader today. If Activision takes place this will no longer be the argument they could use to get away with it again. And when it’s all said and done Sony needs to be careful.
If they were successful and stopping this merger, Activision could move forward and give COD to Microsoft and Game-pass and or remove all dlc content for cod for PlayStation to return the favor of messing up their business and causing a hit on stock the company would suffer from thanks to Sonys metaling. Personally, at the end of the day Bethesda and Activision means nothing to me . I am so tired of 80% of everything Microsoft pushes out being nothing more than another lazy first person shooter game and these purchases only pushes more those themes to their console. And as far as pc or mobile…I could give two left side rat balls about those formats so have fun with that. Games from PlayStation rule the world and will continue to do so in the midst of game pass giving away game after game and consoles being giving away for agreed payment of game-pass. Yes, despite all this talk about Call of Duty and Activision along with all the “wait til next year” themes they repeat every year….Microsoft is and will be a failure in the gaming world compared to Sony. They will never duplicate Sony’s levels of loyalists and quality across the world. Even today PlayStation continues to dominate sales and their number are growing even with Microsoft’s promises of games coming next year yet again and their assured Activision buyout outlook. Real Gamers will always want PlayStation worldwide more than Xbox because Playstation understands what makes great games and Microsoft only knows how to spend money and mismanage their gaming studios so that they can reach cellphone gamers. It’s a shame that so many Xbox console players cheer the direction of Phil Spencer and Xbox as it builds to a world without them as their main focus. Stupidity, at its finest.
