Boy, boy, boy… this x-android fan has come far since I decided to switch to apple. I know have all Apple’s top categories. I have the latest iPhone, latest watch, and latest iPad. And now I have the Ultra. It was the largest smartwatch I’ve ever purchased and the most expensive. At $799 it’s easily something that takes a lot of thought before you throw down the money. And for me coming from the series 7 prior, I was surely blown away by the extra screen size and clarity of the graphics. You see prior to getting this watch version, I could never shake the feeling that the Apple Watch just seemed too much like a toy instead of a tool. The screen size just never was big enough to escape that feeling. But with the Ultra, it feels like a real watch and tool. It’s weight is perfect, it’s sapphire screen is perfect, and it’s fit for me is perfect.
Best of all you have ever single feature you need for the Watch oS instead of missing 1 or 2 if you didn’t by the latest. And if you are a Watch lover and a seeker of time perfection in movement, you already know that apples watches are on atomic time, which means you are always perfect. No setting needed, no daylight savings needed, and on trips no need to worry about time zone changes. You even have the ability to make the Ultra Watch have complications that are useful like a stopwatch or navigation if they don’t exist in the current face you use. So at the end of the day so far color me impressed. But more testing is needed, so more to come.
