The worst situation has just happened to Microsoft and it’s not with the FTC . PlayStation president just announced that the supply issues are over and now people everywhere will get their PlayStation 5 without a lot of issues or wait time. Yes, yes, yes…PlayStation who already has almost a 10 million console lead now at almost 28 million or, if not more, has finally solved all supply issues that plagued them. But the scariest thing about this is that they managed to defeat Microsoft easily even with supply issues. And now with the lead they already have, they are about to destroy Microsoft even more. Microsoft is dealing with huge backlash from not showing up at the gaming awards and with the Activision issues with the FTC. So this is probably what is truly stressing out Phil Spencer, as pictures of him at the gaming award looks like this pressure is truly causing some major concerns to him. But if there is something to be worried about it better be what’s moving forward because PlayStation isn’t anywhere near done with their exclusive games and partnerships. And while this is all the more reason why they need the deal of Activision to go through, they need better management more. Their action to abandon their focus on the console gamer first is premature. This is not yet the time to do something like this obviously as PlayStation focus on the console first continues to pay off better.
