Of all the things I could quote about Sony, Stupidity on how to make mouth just doesn’t come into my words. Sony knows how to make money and they have been making a profit on the Ps5 months after the launch of the system. This is the key to all things with a company. Your investment into a product’s development and manufacturing always cost. The best position is to get to a point where the cost to do so, in the beginning, has turned from negatives to positives and you have made all the money back from the initial investment. So based on history…Sony has shown all of us the blueprint of its launch cycle and a launch of the Pro system just isn’t what is next. For one this doesn’t continue their cycle of profit. In fact, it would destroy it. Now you would start over trying to turn a profit on a product that hasn’t even started its decline in popularity or performance. Keeping in mind that the ps5 hasn’t been on the shelf long enough for this to occur, let alone become readily available for fans to buy in the last 2.5 years. Second, the introduction of a Ps5 Pro now would only hurt the development of games. The Devs would yet again have to start over learning what to do and how to balance that with yet another console on the market with the majority of the market containing the ps5’s consoles still being programmed for while they still try and balance that with old ps4 and ps4 pro game launches as well still. This is too much for the developers at this time and Sony would know that.

No…Sony knows what they are doing and based on history, the next Ps5 will just be a different design of the Ps5 with the same power and spec’s limits with maybe a cooler power draw. It will have a cheaper build material and possibly a smaller design to help further the profits gains on the Playstation 5 Era. This also helps them with being able to supply units, something the previous design of the Ps5 had problems with. On top of this, the backlash from people would be so massive that they would lose their fan base, especially during this time of attention on the Microsoft merger with Activision. People will see them even more for a money-hungry company that abandoned the fans shortly after finally coming through with the proper amount of stock of Ps5’s only to turn around and tell them that the games that are released moving forward won’t run as well on their system unless they go out and get yet another Playstation. Even I would be upset and I have had mine since day one. So again, Playstation is smarter than this, at least I would hope they are. They haven’t shown me throughout history anything different.
