Let’s get this out of this way fast. A controller that dies after 4-5 hours costing $200+ is a complete and utter travesty. Unlike reviewers that are biased towards the dual edge controller that try to minimize this fact, I refuse this as a great choice. In no world will I ever play with this kind of results for a pro controller at that price range or even close to it. So the moment I heard that the Razer controller would fix the dreaded battery life joke of PlayStation controller …they truly had me at hello. But when I read about the record breaking response of the controller…I was truly excited, but then found about the clutch response time options for the analog stick, it made me proud (unlike other people who buy this controller and never download the app and look at this features without running their mouth about dead zones when they can be removed easily) . But what truly blew my mind was the mechanical buttons and directional pad.
And let me tell you, once I got this into my hands and adjusted my preferred response times within the very easy app for the controller, it delivers on every bit of hype about its speed and feel. I truly admire the hard work Razer put into these controller. It was like they created this controller specifically for me. Finally, I don’t have to waste time turning off rumbles and that stupid trigger resistance because they aren’t there. Look I’m sure there of those of you that really love gimmick features like these and I don’t blame you for being uninterested at first. But after the first 2 months, I couldn’t tell you the last time I paid more attention to rumbles or force feedbacks over what was going on with the game on my screen. It just doesn’t wow me and I have idea when it ever helped me perform better. But the ways the buttons response and how fast they do it do matter. It is by far the fastest controller I’ve experienced in my gaming life.
You even get a plethora of custom triggers, profiles, and layouts to help set you up for your type of game. And what’s truly nice about them is that they are natural to reach. You even have custom trigger lengths for faster response times for shooter done better than any other controller including the Dual edge. And all this for a controller that not only beats the original duel sense side by side analog buttons with offset analogs, but you get a whopping 24 hour battery life (if you turn off the custom lighting) and interchangeable analogs key tops with amazing grips on the controller corners. I mean, every thing you need for gaming performance is here and none of the stuff that shouldn’t be there is there. So if you are like me and don’t care about the gimmicks and want something truly better and different from what you have today,,,this is the controller for you. Don’t let the haters or sony purist scare you into doubting this controller. It is the clear overall best. And for me, I got mine for less than $200 open box (like new condition) on eBay, which makes this even better.

My personal score : 10 (because I couldn’t have done better creating a controller for myself than this. I literally couldn’t add a single thing that would make my gaming better for this controller)
