Ok, ok… I repent from my sin! I promise you I had already posted this product on Ebay for the whole day without a bid before I pulled it to retest some things. I got so tired of hearing so many people claim that this unit was so easily better than the Moondrop Blessing 2. Either I needed to give it more time on burn in or I just had a completely different variation of the same driver and tech. And after more burn in time and me getting away for a day or so to focus on my Blessing 2 only, coming back to the Blessing 3’s focus finally cut in clearly. Immediately I started to experience the soundstage and clarity with its bass and mids playing perfectly together. I started to hear the little moments missed in the Blessing 2 clearly and easily. Now all of sudden, the cleaner bass, the details and soundstage brought out the dynamics much easier now. Most of all, I finally got the bubble field I was waiting on. For me it feels that I’m surrounded by music outside my body..not in just in my head. And when this happens, everything around me disappears and only the I and the music exist. These moments create the Nirvana feeling I have to have in order for me the truly be into a headphone or IEM. It plays a role in not just the music I listen to but the ASMR and Podcast. And originally this was not there when I first got the Blessing 3 for days. Now that I have it, it’s much more enjoyable and appealing for me to use.

Now I can start to appreciate the construction more and more. Now the HODDDUS system it has can be appreciated and believed more. Now I can see the 6 drivers and the stacked dynamic drivers when the sound is more powerful and more revealing. I don’t feel used and or tricked into this now. I can finally sit back and enjoy the music without being disappointed in the amount of moment I spent in getting a product that didn’t truly prove to be a successor. Now I can hear the clear differences and best of all I feel the differences when I play songs. I feel the missing emotions and impactful moments I didn’t originally feel. Even the balance in the mids are there more too. No more does this seem like a side grade anymore, thank God.

Yes, finally I can say that Moondrop delivered on their promises. This feels a lot better than complaining that they didn’t. But to still be fair, I shouldn’t have had to go through as many days of burnin as I did to finally get something that sounded like what they promised to deliver. But nonetheless, it’s here now but I still would suggest to a lot of people that they wait for the dusk before deciding on direction or another especially at the $300 price tag that these run. Me personally, I got mine for well under that, thanks to all the headaches I went through getting them.

So for me my price paid plays a part in why I would keep these now even with the thought of the Dusk lurking around the corner. I just can’t tell anyone who only has $300 to spend on their 1 and only IEM that they should just run out and get this one even though the Dusk is on its way. But if you want to buy two or wouldn’t mind standing on the OG model even when the Dusk launches, then have at it. You will get an IEM that delivers on details, possible one of best Vocal tones on an IEM regardless of cost, wide soundstage, great timbre, beautiful presentation in the box, good fit and comfort. It’s already considered by most one of the very best ever made and now that I have got more from it through burn in I wouldn’t dare say otherwise. At the end of the day it’s Moondrop! Is there really any other thing that needs to be said?
