As you know I’ve been really blessed to be able to try different earphones and headphones for the past couple of months. There are really some great choices out there. And honestly, I can’t tell you that there is a bad choice as long as they work without failure for the users. If you are a Sony person, the Xm5’s Combo is probably the best thing in the world to you. And who am I to tell you otherwise. My experiences aren’t yours and yours aren’t mine. I’ve had tons of issues out of the Sony earphones and rarely any out of the headphone line ups. But I’m sure someone else might have a different view. And this just applies to all brands like Soundcore, Sennheisers, Bowers and Wilkins, and others. Even if you asked me my thoughts on which Brand is the best, I would say Sennheisers are but this only applies to what I believe the best overall Brand is in relations to everyone universally.

For me personally I believe the Bose came at a time where I was tired of things that were over complicated and undelivered on promises and abilities. The Bose came in and completely did something for me, right at the moment that I almost gave up. And that was delivering on what they claim on all fronts and was reliable in its operation with failure. The bose didn’t try and become something they weren’t. They double down on what made them superior and that was ANC, Comfort, and Sound. They weren’t known for gimmicks and different features like the Sony’s and others but what they were good at they made better and stayed in their line. So by doing this they created confidence around their followers and people who trusted in their brand, style, and signature. I didn’t have to worry about the unit shutting down like I had to deal with other brands. I didn’t have to worry about pressure headaches due to claiming force. I didn’t have to worry about fit and seal issues like I did with other brands. I didn’t have to worry about battery drainage problems and lack of battery power. In short they just worked and did what they did, better than any other company….”FOR ME”.

So when this happens a sort of stamp happens that connects you to certain things. This is what happened with me with the Bose. They just became and item that fit me the best and one that I would depend on for doing it’s job. And even when others beat them in certain areas here or there, the overall result was that I was attached to them and trusted their results more than any other brand on the market for my headphones and earphone needs because they became my trusted devices at the right time while others were connecting to phone while inside their case and turned off, while other had weak battery results, lied about specs and features, were uncomfortable, or just flat out sucked in phone call quality or proper ANC. And when this happens you just find yourself seeking something you can depend on for your sound needs. So again, I’m not saying that you won’t find better sound in Sennheisers, or better features in Sony. In fact I still recommend them over my Bose for all other people because I understand what others seek…I am saying though that this doesn’t mean anything to me when compared to the overall dominance these have for me on a personal level.
