Every single Audiophile in the world struggles with this concept of knowing thy self. That’s the journey that you must go through. You have to figure out what it is about music and sound that you love. It can’t just be about what sounds good. You have know why it sounds good or better when the sound is pushed in one direction or another. Normal everyday people just listen to music and say something sounds good but have no idea what about the sound brings them to this way. They only know it has bass or they like the rhythm of the music or the way someone sings or raps and that’s it. So this kind of journey sometimes ends up being very expensive to explore and takes years to lock down. And even then sometimes even that changes over time.
For me all things that are perfect in tech and sound come together with One brand and model, The Oracle MkII. Everything in my life has led up to this one moment and one design and brand, Thieaudio. I am very thankful for everything in my life from the small to the big. Life is so precious and special and without God’s blessings, this world will destroy your humanity and any good that you have. So when I find such a moment in my life, I’m so fearfully thankful for that thing and moment. And I try and enjoy it for what it was intended to be without taking for granted the moment or letting it go by without the proper respect that the moment deserves.
So with this Thieaudio Oracle MK2, the first thing that makes it stand out is the root DNA that Thieaudio tries to install in their product. The KInG of the Mids is the foundation. The flat ruler like Mid range is the secret to their in house root sound. They are the first company that consistently nails this aspect of the sound frequency and for me every single earphone and headphone in my life has revealed this direction slowly. For me the Mid range for my ears through my life has been the most important area and where I found the connection to magic. I also have come to believe that the mid range is the hardest to nail for most manufacturers and therefore is the unicorn of accomplishments when it is done right. It is the catalyst of the timbre, tonality, vocals, and instruments that the EST driver combined with the absolute nailing of the perfect balance in treble that has meant everything to me from Enya to Metallica.
So with the nailed mid range Thieaudio created a soundstage and imaging engine inside the Oracle MK2 that I have waited my whole life to experience. Having the dead centering down yet spreading out a domed effect all around my body. Something no other IEM or earphone has managed to get the proper balance of until now and this is of course accomplished by the amazing Bass and quality of it with the sub bass and mid bass proper enriching everything to the proper level.
It is literally the prefect storm created for me and nothing I have ever experienced in tech beats it. As I have already mention in my review it is the single greatest and first perfect piece of tech I have ever had, seen, or experienced. So grateful, so blessed, and so humbled to have reached this moment in my life with this experience.
