Instead of me telling you myself why the discussion about the Oracle MK2 being better than the original is a forgone conclusion… I thought I would allow Thieaudio themselves to speak on the matter and tell you why it is not only the Best Oracle but Possibly One of Best made IEM in history.
“The Oracle was the Mecca for audiophiles and audio engineers requiring perfect tonal accuracy and precision. The all-new Oracle MKII is the next evolutionary step in high-fidelity audio.“
“The Oracle MKII features one of the best ultra-treble extensions in not only THIEAUDIO history, but among all manufacturers globally“
“The Oracle MKII is the ultimate reference tool for those needing to hear every micro-detail in the music without any unnatural harshness or shrillness.“
“The mids of the Oracle MKII are powered by the same dual Knowles balanced armature drivers featured in the Monarch MKII. By delivering an uncolored and neutral midrange, your music will finally sound as the studio engineers intended it to. And for the studio engineers themselves, the Oracle MKII is among the very very few IEM’s that will tonally mimic your studio monitors.“
So I could point out more quotes from Thieaudio themselves but I think you get the point. If the maker themselves, who created all their products says these things then there is something truly special about this product vs any other product, especially when it relates to the older Oracle model. This IEM is absolutely perfect in everything that it sets out to do. It is the first perfect tech product I’ve ever experienced in my life and every single thing said above and more is exactly what it is. Could you go get a more expensive product? Sure, go ahead but you won’t find a better put together IEM. It has no flaws to its look, fit, sound, or nor price. Can you find something with extreme bass lacking mids? Yeah if you don’t care about mids. But even saying that means it’s not perfect because it’s missing mids. Or can you find something with more drivers? Sure if you want to deal with the fit issue that come with such a big IEM and the money wasted against diminishing returns. You just aren’t going to get a perfect sound DNA with the kind of mids, treble est design, and sub bass and bass balance and hit as mentioned above for $580 or less. It is flat out the pinnacle of design, engineering and law of diminishing returns in world of audiophile IEM.
