The IEM hobby for some is about gathering the most notable IEM’s in the world and adding them to your collection. For me it’s about the exact opposite. I personally can’t stand having multiple products that do the roughly the same thing and are used for the same purpose. When I buy, I buy to replace, not to add to my collection. I personally, can’t stand to move backwards. Once I know you are inferior …I move on and can’t return back to something that isn’t the best for me. The reason for this is because I believe that each product is meant to take you the level that you find your top Balance point. For me there is no greater point than the Monarch MK2.

There is no other IEM that is out that I would rather have. It’s not a money thing or limit, its an understanding of the law of Diminishing returns. You see, even with the Monarch Mk2 there was concern about the true difference and it almost became a bad purchase if not for the sale I got them for ( $780) over the original MSRP of $999. Why? Because at $999 it proved to be not worth the difference over the Oracle M2. There was just no way that the Monarch MK2 was worth double the amount over the Oracles MK2 $589 price tag. There is roughly about 25-30% advantage in sound at maximum. For some this is enough even at $1000. For me I am willing to pay $100 extra for every 10-15% advantage you can give me. This is my standard for what is worth the money.

And for me, my Kilgharrah (aka Monarch Mk2) is just the limit for all things worth buying in IEM’s vs Sound difference. It is easily the best sounding IEM I’ve ever heard in my life but by 30% over the Oracle 2. It isn’t some double the sound quality that the price will lead you to believe. It was designed for me and everything I hold true in Sound, yes. But beyond that all I see is only minor changes that are even smaller the more expensive they get. Things like the MK3 are a perfect example. It’s a side grade at best because the shoes filled by the Mk2 are too great. Other brands like the false god worshipers of Empire Ears and Kinera are just too much to accept personally. And brands like 64 Audio U12t and Final Audio a8000 are just a departure of what I believe is the core foundation of all things for Audiophile sound…the ruler flat Mid range found in Thieaudio line ups. If your Mids aren’t done right, nothing else works. My focus is on true sound, true timbre, true sub bass, true vocals, and true treble. And the Monarch hits those points and even fits me like a custom mold.

I have just the exact width and depth needed for this IEM to fit secure and without any pain or pressure so nothing is left in the market today that applies to me like Monarch MK2….And because of this …I’m signing off for my ever searching goal of finding the Best IEM out there for me. This is my END GAME, and I need nothing more from audio nor do I need to accomplish more on this platform of IEMs.
