I had to let this one sink in. I was so hurt to hear about all those people from Microsoft that were laid off and fired. It was just not very exciting news to hear about all the Billions of dollars they gain in revenue and yet had no room to save peoples jobs. And then we find out that not only did they make profits but now IGN reports Microsoft has crossed into the 3 Trillion dollars, being only the second company in the world to reach this milestone at this time. So they literally sit on top of the most richest companies in the world and yet still they are the company that has laid out thousands of employees as they seek even more profits.
People from Call of Duty programmers and many more sit at home wondering why they even voted for Microsoft to buy out Activision. And even more people are now rethinking all their judgements against PlayStation concerns and warnings about them buying out Activision. I bet if these people knew this was going to happen they wouldn’t have voted for them and would have fought harder to protect the gaming industry from what seems to be a virus, called Microsoft. I also wonder how this will play out in the eyes of the FTC appeal against the Activision deal.
Microsoft is dangerous, both from a power position and a lack of management position for gaming. Everything they have touched has suffered it seems and things aren’t over. They plan on more buy outs to gain even more power but I hope this time the world will remember all those who are suffering and the complete disarray they have left Activision’s Call of duty and peoples lives that used to work there. They are greedy, corrupt, and misleading. This is exactly what PlayStation and the FtC were trying to prove and failed to do so. But now the world is starting to see but the damage has began.
