With the success of the Samsung A24 Ultra’s AI features, you can’t help but believe that Apple is just around the corner with their iphone 16 and their ios 18 chipset. According to the reports on this chipset, it is heavily rumored that it will contain cores needed to rival any other AI released on the market today, which includes Samsung, of course. Placing their iphone in front again right of the hills of the S24 Ultra hype.
For me personally, I think Apple really needs to take this time to do something truly different in it’s looks not just in features. This was easily a critical issue against s23 user’s vs s24 ultra users. Once the AI features come to the S23, then there will be no need to even consider an upgrade because the phones look too similar and function too similar. Apple needs to avoid this downfall. They need a radically different design to go along with AI integration. But based on Apple’s history, it’s really unlikely that they ever put out something truly different inside and out for the iphone because of what it might mean for the ecosystem and developers being split in their approach for universal capabilities. But who knows for sure. But I for one love to see competition.
