Let get this one out of the way really fast, shall we? Playstation 5 pro is coming for one reason…because people are stupid enough to believe hype, lies, and rebuy fomo. People everywhere going crazy…already restating the same lies the ps5 sold you on this generation.
Yes, we are getting more terflops… the same teraflops most ps5 owners and creators claimed didn’t matter when Xbox series x had more. All of a sudden, people want to beat their chest about it. So let’s stop that right now. Next…faster redendering doesn’t mean new amazing graphics. Nobody has ever said this generation that the Playstation just doesn’t render graphics fast enough. Now, all of sudden, this is supposed to mean that you are going to get 8k graphics??? The same 8k promise both Xbox series x and Playstation 5 claimed this generation, and we got nothing but spins and misdirection. Again, let stop people with the bull crap.
Now let’s talk reality, shall we? Here is the facts. Playstation has more ps5 owners than they will have ps5 pro owners. So, guess what’s not going away? Their focus on the ps5. Even the ps4 is still being programmed for. And you know what this means for your games moving forward. They won’t be a drastic difference between your ps5 games vs. the ps5 pro. They can’t create a totally different game to truly take advantage of anything hyped up by the introduction of a ps5 pro. All you are going to get a higher frame rate to 4k ratio at best. All while they tell you this generation and previous generation that 4k resolution don’t mean anything because your system upscale to 4k anyway, and you can’t really tell the difference unless you get up on your tv or zoom in. But all of sudden, Sony’s slogan needs you to believe that you will see this a big difference based on how much faster it rendors (lol!!!!)and places like digital foundery will pause and zoom in as close as possible to help push the idea that all of sudden some great and total different accomplishment is happening …just like they did with the ps5 graphics when we still have games like Detroit Become Human that are last generation graphical champions and better than 90% still released today. If even 1/2 of the Playstation 5 games reached that level of detail and graphics…this generation would be completely blown away. But no, the same overhype and lies pushed this generation are being shown to us yet again. It happened before… it will happen again. Compromises will be present even with this console, and it will happen next generation, too. People need to stop letting media and companies continue to lie to them. They need to make them own what they sold us on. I’m still waiting 4k/60 “no compromise” promise they made this generation that nobody wants to talk about. Nobody ever makes these companies…Xbox included…pay for their lies. All we do is reward them with our money.
