Man, I almost sent away the best bluetooth Earphone I’ve had. During my first few days of testing and praise about the Cambridge M100, aka Feyd Rautha, I was in a great place. The ANC wasn’t the best, but again, nothing is ever perfect. So, instead of me accepting this, I went looking to perfect something instead of accepting its imperfection. So I switched out the default tips for foam. This, of course, helped the ANC, much like the Sonys Xm5s. But for the next few days, pressure headaches were born and never went away. It didn’t hit me until I boxed the M100 up that it was the foam, not the earphones.

And while I really like what Jabra does … they are not the M100s in any real way of competition. Only two bluetooth earphones have been on their level based on my memory, the Denon (which has failed multiple times on me and I will never trust again), and the Az80’s which I have not tested fully against them as far as a A/B test( might have to run that test). But even with those, this amazing battery life and A/B classified Amp architect inside the mighty Feyd Rautha is just a combo I don’t believe can be beat in the bluetooth realm.

Yes, it still is just OK for phone calls. It’s just ok for ANC without foam tips, just OK for transparency, and it could be better. This is not everyone’s perfection champion, I don’t believe that exists anywhere. All I’m saying is for my boxes, sound, battery, fit, price, controls(sorry Jabra, accurate touch contols are superior), and more importantly, QA with stability, this thing nails it.

I still stand on my original stance that nothing that exists in bluetooth checks these specific boxes the M100 checks. At under $170, find me a more dominating sound, accurate touch controls, error free operation, battery life of 52 hours, 16 hours per charge, and built with a classified A/B amp with the volume power and timbre and soundstage/ instrument separation it delivers. You are not going to find it.
