Look, I’m not sure what the heck happened to me over the last couple of days. I’ve gone from the perfect earphone as far has not having any failures or problems with the unit in the Technics AZ80’s, to now I can’t put the EarFun Air pro 4’s down. This is not just me…but even my wife has thrown her hat into the ring and requested that I order her a pair as well. She really have gravitated to them as well after merely seeing them and reading about them. She took them to listen and immediately asked for me to order her a pair. And obviously we aren’t the only ones. Amazon is now having problems keeping them in stock and have sold out. The next shipment can’t ship off for the next 6 days. People, I’m telling you something special is here and something that is could effectively have serious changes to the outcome of earphone competition moving forward.

The focus of this company has truly paid off. “Better sound, Better life” is really adapting to many audio listeners out there. This company doesn’t at all resolve itself to believing that they have to charge vast amounts of money for great sounding and great performing earphones and they can do it while still looking great, sounding great, and being inviting. They even do this while remaining focus on the environment. Something you don’t see very many other earphone companies talking about on their website.

However, even with all this, I tried my best to remain true to my word and awards already given to the AZ80 on my site. And while I still believe they deserve the award for what it was given for, and even though the Earfun Air pro 4 don’t check off the list like the AZ80 to be considered Perfect Diamond material, I found myself totally hooked on them especially when they beat the AZ80 in sound quality through my AB testing. Yes, that’s right, this simple $80 earphone beat a $300 earphone in sound quality! It was more powerful and my dynamic in its frequency responses. It even had times when the soundstage was wider.

And all this is before the amazing water resistance and battery life difference of 52 hours vs 24 hours. I can’t tell you how refreshing it feels to listen to hours without worry of battery low warnings that the Az80 starts at 20% battery life remaining or to worry about rain. This was one of the main things I missed about having to get rid of the M100 by Cambridge after the sensor failed and they were so bad on phone calls. Thank God, the Air Pro 4’s are better at phone calls than the M100 and most definitely have the sensor working properly for Play/Pause wear detection. I even get a 2 year warranty for the EarFun vs 12 months on the Technics. So now at $300 …the Technic might be returned because at $300 …you shouldn’t have a example of any $80 product beating you in sound quality, ANC, and Features.
