Throughout all of these earphones …the one earphone that has gone and taken on the most competition and defeated them has been the Cambridge Audio M100! It kicked so much ass during its run that I nicked named it “Feyd Rautha” out of respect for the amazing action job and excitement the Character on Dune (played by Austin Butler). In the movie, his pure fighting style and overall lack of respect for the history of things or his limits played out in these earphones in my opinion. They aren’t supposed to beat well known brands like Sennheiser, Sony, and Bose but they don’t know this. The step into the arena and walk through everyone. It has Venting, Great sound quality, Class AB amplification, great comfort, 52 hours of battery life, 7 band EQ, Good ANC, and a price point of $169. It’s a flat out Monster in Bluetooth reliability and looks fantastic.

It was sent back to Cambridge only because of the sensor that failed for the play pause feature. If not for this it would still be on my desk and or in my pocket prior to getting them back today. Now the sensor are working on my new pair as well as all the other things that worked as they should. And I couldn’t be more happier with them back in my hands or in my ears, I should say. Now only time will tell if the failure I had was a 1-off or not. But if the unit remains as it is today and doesn’t show any other issues, I can’t help be believe the majority of my use for earphones will be spent with this unit.

Its brings a certain amount of anger it brings forth for me just like the character when I think about the bodies it has left behind:) in the earphone bluetooth world. It bothers me seeing earphones like Bower and Wilkins that have a mere 13 hour battery life, weak ANC, and lack of reliability in bluetooth connection and yet want $400 for their product without even trying to deliver a product worth their asking price while everyone on youtubes pushes this product just like the did the version prior and yet all the reviews from real people on the web showed nothing but disappointment in QC. If a $100-$170 earphone can give reliable connections, a high quality codex, and super great battery life, the $400 product better do it too. I root for the companies like EarFun and Cambridge to hurt the big companies to finally get them to wake up and give the consumer what we deserve at the prices that they are charging.

Until then, may Feyd Rautha Rule and may the other overpriced bluetooth earphones companies knife Chip and Shatter:)
