A while ago, I went through a lot of things with the Denon Perl Pro’s. Great highs were reached, and some frustrating lows as well. I was really taken aback with the issues I had with the Denon Perl Pro. And while I knew nothing would be perfect, it was really frustrating to see such a dominant sounding device not at least be good enough to work as designed. I had multiple issues with short out on my first two units, which didn’t make sense to me. They were the cause of me sending them back off and questioning their need in my life.

But I just couldn’t stop wanting back inside the Denon Perl pro’s Matrix. The sound is better than anything on the market today, period. Nothing matches it, and anyone saying different are just in denial and flat out ignoring truth. It’s that clear and evident once you run your sound analyzer that its sound is completely dominant and on a different world than anything in its genre. You can waste your money on $400-$500 bluetooth earphone all you want, and they will never do what these do in sound. All you are doing to compromising with truth for the sake of spending money, thinking that money means better when it doesn’t.

So I returned back the Matrix .. back to Neo:). I’m sure glad I did because what I discovered was that I might have overlooked an issue that was the real cause of my headaches and failures on the previous model. The Denon Perl Pro are highly sensitive about what is used to charge them, unlike most of my earphones. I discovered that the wall charger I was using when both went out were fast chargers with a lot of voltage. This was causing the case and earphones to short and cause the problems I was looking at prior, I believe.
Now, of course, I could easily say that if the other earphones worked fine on the same charger, why not them! Sure, but I could also just use what they informed me to use in the instructions and not just assume. This could explain why this unit I have now has not shown a single sign of failure, that and God’s grace because we know anything electronic can and will fail.

It’s time to put my shades on and return back to where it all began, “back to the Matrix.” I am, in every way, so blessed to have options to experience things of sound instruments in my life. Things like the Denon Perl Pro, the Cambridge M100, and even the Az80’s are some of my best examples of sound and enjoyment. So, if you ever consider these products, I can finally give my outright thumbs up on them all now. Just make sure you use them as directed so you don’t damage your product like a idiot, aka… like me. In the meantime, I will keep watch on them and expect that they will just work as intended.
