2 hours to go before delivery, I will have to admit I have zero excitement about this product. In fact I don’t believe I have been this less excited about a new product that has been hyped in the past. I purchased it as a confirmation to myself and to the articles I write, that and amazon options to for divided payments. This way I knew I could both send back the product and not have to wait around for all of my $400+ dollars. The only payment I would be waiting on is the payment for the initial payment of $140 or so. So sure, I could deal with that.
But why? Why is this product looked at in such disinterest by me? Well, I think the first fact of the battery life not being but 13 hours on the case is just flat out disrespectful and outright robbery in 2024, especially for something that claims to be best and cost $400. And while we on the topic of “claim of best”, this I guess, leads me to my other point. I have zero belief or trust in the product to deliver “The Best” sound quality as others have claimed. The Denon perl Pro, Cambridge Audio m100, AZ80, and even the Earfun Air Pro 4’s are the very best sound quality followed by Boss and Sennheiser. I just don’t believe it, I just don’t. I truly believe people try to convince themselves it’s the best because they paid more for it.
Do I believe they sound like trash? Most likely not but it wouldn’t shock me if it did as there are so many people that claim things that aren’t true on youtube based on many different reasons. And just like the previous B/w product that was absolutely a trainwreck in its operations and reliability and yet no youtuber told the truth about the product or even hinted at it as whole until this new product hit the shelves. I hear things about the this model already that might not be true or across the board but they show signs of the same lack of knowledge from B/w on earphones, that I can’t help but not be excited about this product. Already heard about crashes, disconnects, and even battery that never reach 100% or just around.
Frankly put, I don’t believe for one second that anything on this planet earth in Bluetooth can lay a hand on the Denon Perl Pro’s in sound quality. It’s just not possible. If this is the case…the world of Bluetooth would frankly be born again…for lack of a better term. I mean when you hear certain things that are so far ahead of anything ever made, you just know it’s not possible. To be frank, I’m willing to bet you that the Bowers and Wilkins can’t even beat the Earfun Air Pro’s 4 or Cambridge Audio M100. The soundstage, timbre, and frequency of sound quality is right behind the Denon Perl pro’s for these. Something tells me that the B/w might be as good as the Soundcore liberty earphones at best. I know people are going to think I’m being harsh but I’m not trying. That’s just how great my top 5 earphones are.

But if this is something that can happen, I would be the first to write a review and admit that I’m wrong and it would be one of the most happiest day in my life that followed being wrong that I have ever experienced in my life. But I just don’t believe that day is on it’s way with the Bowers and Wilkins. More to come….
