Well, sometimes even us weird people with different taste can be right sometimes universally it seems. At least this is the case with the Bowers and Wilkins Pi8! Now, unless you have been sleeping under a rock or something, the Bowers and Wilkins Pi8’s have hit and they have taken the flat out CROWN people. I thought I was crazy about this pair and might be just caught in my audiophile taste only. But looks like I wasn’t just influenced by my Audiophile ears. I might have just been right across the board. Even at such a crazy price of $400, the complete unified opinion on EVERY site in the world that have reviewed this earphone is that they are the New Kings of Sound and it’s not even debatable.
I have never seen people so universally unified about such a item in bluetooth. Everyone is seeing the same things I see or should I say hearing the same things I’m hearing. When you put them on …there is a such an immediate difference in whatever you ever heard prior vs what you are hearing with these earphones. You know you hearing something completely different and an absolute game changer and all you want is for it to continue without stopping. Every song you have ever heard in you life will be so much better than it has ever sounded before despite all other earphones you have tried. You can line every single one of them up and they can’t compete with these at ANY PRICE. The realism( they highest level of vocal and instrumental realism ever produced), timbre, resolution, separation, perfect bass, mids, treble, and tonality are unequal coming from their impressive 12mm drivers.
The Comfort and unmatched and disappear in your ears. They sound amazing on phone calls as well. They even fixed all the drops and signal loss thanks to the open venting around the top crown of the earphones. This is very important to me because nothing pisses me off more than a earphone that can’t even play sound without cutting out and or stuttering randomly. It’s way things like the Gemini 2’s are not option for my considerations, that and less than 5 hours of battery life. And speaking of battery life, the Pi8’s get me that 6 hours+ that I need. While it doesn’t have the amazing 50 hours of some bluetooth earphones( which in my opinion they should have had at the price they are asking for), they at least get me 3 lapse at 6 hours+ before needing to be charged at the case level.
Jason Bourne is the my nickname for the Pi8 and it’s quite fitting, if I do say so myself. They have the sure smart abilities mix with the quiet authority and power needed to stand out amongst the pack leaders as the new Alpha of the herd of bluetooth earphones in the world today. And just like Bourne, the name of the Pi8 have gone from a half whispered, respected, and feared among the select, to being a outright known power house by world now. There is nothing to debate, there is nothing else left to considered. Bowers and Wilkins Pi8 is the King of the Bluetooth world of Sound and if you haven’t acknowledged this yet, you will.
