One of the main issues I have with the Pi8s is their battery life issues. Right away, you see a screenshot of the battery life on the earphones. If you notice above, it says 93 percent …and that in itself shouldn’t cause anyone any concern. However, this battey life is what I have right after taking them from the case and them charging overnight. That’s right. I haven’t even used them, and straight from the case, they only charged after a whole day of them being in the case to 93%. And to really prove this is just not an app issue, I even had my phone look into its charge in the bluetooth menu, and even my phone determined that the earphones are only at 93%. I even reset the connection and still showed the same battery. This is not a 1x issue, and it has increased in this event week after week. There was a week I only had 83% battery life after my earphones charged for 3 days.

There is, at least not in my opinion, and single reason why this should be an issue at the cost of $400. I feel cheated with this product as other reports of this issue are out there, and I guess that’s why I hate this more because I had heard about these issues, and I let the hype about the sound quality made me take a chance that it wasn’t going to be me.  And for the first few weeks, it never did this, and then out of the blue, it started doing this. And if I could return them, I would. Sure, I can send them off, but if this is a part of their line, it won’t be fixed with a new one.

I mean, the really frustrating part that doubles down on my issues with this is the fact that it only has 13 hours of charge hours. Touch controls delays, and chargers slow along with weak anc. I just deserve more such an expensive product. It only reinforces my natural doubts I’ve always had with expensive earphones, not living up to its cost to performance and realibillity responsibilities.
