Look, there are literally tons and tons earphones out there. Competition is fears more than it has been in years. So over the course of that time we can sometime forget just impressive a company might have been compared to what it was. One such company is Sennheiser. Whoever at the company that set out to correct all their problems with case issue, battery life issue, and stability issue with all the older generations of the MTW, did just that. They made it their mission to put a end to things that should have never plagued such a great company. And you can tell real thought went into this. It is one of the highest trusted and best operating earphone on the market today. Honestly, I would have to say that it even ties the Az80’s as the perfect operating device for bluetooth earphones. And I have truly let many down by not pointing this out until today. They even have software in place to assure that you get the maximum amount of time and proper dependability from the earphone battery by stopping the charging of the battery from extending over 80% on charging cycles and still it delivers on great battery life even capped at 80% if you do decide to take advantage of this software feature. It basically assures that you will have a earphones for many years to come. They even added the Auracast options for future proofing, if you are into that.

The App for your phone is also robust, with a great many features and customization for controls. And speaking of controls, the Sennheiser is THE Best Control accuracy in the world of bluetooth touch controls. They kill the ANC game as one of the very best and has Ultra transparency mode options, especially for taking a phone call, which makes them stand out so much as one of my most comfortable earphones to talk on. They even have their own sound analyzer for your hearing that can allow you to dial in your personal settings and details, especially the MIDs, which most earphones miss the importance of. In fact, I call the Sennheiser the Mid range Kings, because of the detail they allow you bring out of the Mid range. Songs like the one you see below by Alexis Ffrench, is one of my favorite piano songs of my life and I have never ever heard it sound anywhere like it plays on the Sennheiser on any earphone including the Pi8’s.

So if the sound is like this, the app is like this, and the features are on point along with the trust factor, then why on earth did I look to any other earphone? Well, for me, it’s the venting. This is what made me put the earphones down time and time again. I have to have proper venting in earphones. So, using these, despite how great they are, just always limited me. If it’s not for this…I can easily see how anyone could pick these up and be done for any other earphone. I’m not saying there aren’t better earphones in areas like ANC, Bose has that game locked down, Or in sound as the “Overall” sound game still rides with the PI8 and Denon perl Pro. But what I’m saying is that I can easily live without all those products if I had the venting with these, and if you don’t have problems with venting, you could do the same. Quite possibly, you could easily be still looking at a product that launched long before all the newcomers today and still considered to be one of the best for many, if not the only choice needed. So, coming back to these to write a follow-up overview on these as possibly one of the greatest on the market today was needed because I don’t think I did it enough justice especially at the cost you can’t get it now at $179.
