Not only is the Denon Perl Pro one of the very best top two earphones in the world today in sound quality, but today, you can buy them for $150, which is absolutely incredible. This price for these earphones is such a great price. You don’t have to second guess anything at this price. These things are so dominating in sound that only 1 pair in the world today is better in sound, the Pi8’s. But even with them being better, it is only by a very small margin over the Denon. And when you take into account their price being $400, there is nothing to talk about.
My current pi8s are plagued with problems from battery problems and case transmission problems that no longer work anymore. But even if this was not the case, the pi8s don’t provide better features or ability over Denon. And they especially don’t prove their worth over them at $400, nothing even near being worth more than $50 in the sound difference they have. Overall, the Denon wins, and I’ve regretted buying the Bowers and Wilkins pi8s.
Sure, there isn’t a one size fits all but comfort is another thing I like as well. They provide me with really nice hear thru and ANC and even decent phone quality and battery life. And of course, for me, it even gives me venting balance in my ears. I don’t have pressure build up like I do with things like the Soundcore Liberty pro 4’s and brands like Sennheiser. They fit me like they should, and I can wear them for hours and hours.
I even managed to get the Denon Dj Deck, which is absolutely amazing, and also pushing the price to features set better than other decks as well. Denon is just one of these companies that is doing things most have never been willing to give the consumers at these prices. So if you haven’t bought an top tier earphone…this is the time, I promise you will not regret it.
