Perhaps I shouldn’t be writing this article yet, to be fair. But I’m sorry, even if it’s not something I have to deal with …way too many people are dealing with this. I’m so sorry but I am so sick of issues with battery life being the common problem shown with earphones, especially one that cost $300-$500. It makes no sense, and I’m truly sick of it. You can charge crazy amounts of money for something that didn’t even cost $150 to make and yet you can’t can’t even give the promised amount of battery life you promise people.
Devialet products have a history of lies about battery hours, and with the newest model, people continue to complain about only getting 4 hours out of the promised 5 hours and mismatched percentage of battery life. Some report one earbud at 80% while the other one is at 30%. That’s absolutely ridiculous, and I hope this stuff is false and doesn’t exist with mine. But honestly, people, something tells me I better prepare come Monday to be disappointed and pissed off. It’s just too much smoke for this to be false.
Another thing that made me buy these earphones with A.I. It told me I could turn off anc and could use normal listening modes. But everyone on line is telling me that this is not true. They say you can only use ANC or hear-thru, not the option to turn them off, only toggle between the two. And if that is the case, I bet there is no way I get 5 hours of battery life, which is my absolute limit I’m willing to deal with, especially paying $500 for bluetooth earphones.
All of this will be confirmed on Monday, and I will have to make a video on the confirmation shortly after. But make no mistake about it, there is no way I will ever recommend this product if it’s can’t get me 5 hours or battery life as they promised. Sure, I know others lie about this, but at $500, there is more I hold you to as a company.
