I’ve been saying this for years, and now it’s the beginning stages that we see. No longer can this be denied. Xbox president has come out and confirmed more and more so-called exclusives won’t continue to be anymore, and true exclusives are going to be a rare case moving forward. Xbox president says “They are redefining what it means to the be a xbox fan”…problem with this is that you don’t decide what it means to me or someone else, we tell you…problem is you don’t care. It is this kind of blindness that will cost Xbox consoles players. But the biggest joke is that they know this and don’t care.

For Xbox console famboys out there, it’s time to find another hobby because the world of Xbox is forever changed. Microsoft won’t say it flat out, and yet they are very loud in their messaging. They are no longer interested in console sales and exclusives. They believe that if they can get Playstation fans to buy their games, they win. And they are right. Microsoft has changed things and the narrative ad I have mentioned in the article prior to this. I’ve been seeing this direction for a year, and yet fanboys act like this isn’t the case, and even now, they have convinced themselves that this is what’s best because Microsoft said so. Yes, it will make them more money, but the issue is that making them more money in this direction doesn’t help the console players of old. This direction is about making their own world where exclusives are bad and gaming should be about access to all. While this Robinhood type mentality can be spon around as something herioc, many fans of the consoles still will feel less and less attached to the platform and will look elsewhere.

The Ps5 Pro could be the easy elsewhere direction along with the PS6 down the road. The pride of ownership of a console still resides with Playstation. And this pride is what helps them sell 10 of millions more than than the Xbox. The Ps5 Pro has released with impressive spec’s that boost them in front of the Xbox series X, something Playstation was struggling with as the years went by.  But now they are in the front seat of power and performance. The pro looks and performs very convincingly. And while it’s still Sony, who lies about everything, the system is the most powerful if only 15% or less in results against Xbox Series x. And what I see isn’t something you need to go back and forth to see. You pretty much see it the moment the games start running, at least for me in the games I play, like Madden 25, NBA 2k 25, and FC 25! The colors pop more, the frame rates are even smoother, and the lighting and reflections are way more impressive. You see more, and you have more way more space with 2TBs.

Now, at $699, most people, like myself, would automatically just go with a PC. But unfortunately, you could not buy a PC that can run the 4k 120fps or 4k 60fps on the games I have at $700. Even the latest upcoming 5080 graphic card prove that graphics are at their limits right now. So what I’m getting with the ps5 Pro or Xbox Series X might be all I can at their prices unless I’m willing to spend $2000 or more. So now the ps5 pro doesn’t look as bad as most thought, like me, even though I didn’t spend $699 on mine, I was able to take advantage of a Best buy deal with $200 off for buying a expensive refrigerator my wife wanted, killing two birds with one shot. But if not for this, I would still consider it now that I know my cost for my upgrade of my PC and the limits I now see that PC’s are finally reaching.
