If you own the Pi8, one of the most talked about earphones of the 2024 year and even now. It is considered by a lot of people to be the assumed greatest earphone on the market today( but it’s not). Youtubers everywhere went crazy over the product and supported the hype. What the youtubers didn’t go back to do is tell everyone to watch out for the discharge problems with the earphones. But thankfully reddit and other forms are a place that the unpaid influencers go to tell the truth about their products experiences. It is there that I learned that I was not alone in my complaints about the bowers and wilkins pi8s battery drainage problem.
I would have thought that Bowers and Wilkins Reddit page would be looked at and addressed as they are suppose to do for such a high ranked company. But I was wrong obviously. So when I found that no such solution was coming from this and I went to the customer service department and turned in all my requested proof of my purchasing and explained in detail what was happening to me and others. That was 2 weeks ago and 10 emails (show above)later and they have yet to take ownership or even offer a exchange for the product. But what they will do is keep asking you unrelated questions to see if they can place the blame on you and avoid acknowledging that the problem exist. I went as far as to send them a copy of the reddit pages that discuss this problem and this was ignored still without offering me a exchange. They even tried to claim it was because it was not disconnecting from my phone, which isn’t true at all and yet they still won’t accept this. They aren’t stupid and are hoping that they can just avoid given me a exchange product. Why? Because they either don’t want to and hope that I will just give up or they know it’s universal and all their products are doing this. Either way, be very careful buying this product no matter how many people tell you it’s great and theirs work. Make sure the juice is worth the squeeze. Before, I found the Gemini 2s I was willing to go through whatever it took to keep the pi8’s but now that they are not important any longer this changes my view about them and their company. The only thing that exist is the Principle of the situation.
