I’ve don a lot of talks about my disappointment with Bowers and Wilkins Pi8’s and their lack of ownership for what the pi8’s have wrong with them. After all this time, they have finally said that they are done asking questions after weeks and weeks of their refusal to accept my information about the failures…

I’ve don a lot of talks about my disappointment with Bowers and Wilkins Pi8’s and their lack of ownership for what the pi8’s have wrong with them. After all this time, they have finally said that they are done asking questions after weeks and weeks of their refusal to accept my information about the failures to the Pi8’s battery. They claim they are finally turning over for a request for exchange. Finally, I actually get them to agree to exchange(maybe). But I’m not holding my breath for this to happen. I don’t trust anything they say until it’s done and it’s a shame.

To put this into perspective, this earphone should have been the absolute best earphone in the world today. They had either the best or 2nd best sound quality to most people, but if they had the battery life they promised( without drainage problem) along with correct touch control without delays, the earphone charged at least as fast as most and not the slowest as they are now, an ANC that was at least “one” of the best, and if the transmitting case actually did what they claimed without have almost 2 second delay in sound from movies or videos, this unit could still be my top pick. This is how many things went wrong with this unit. But for me it’s the battery life drainage issue that was easily the biggest one. I went 3 days without using it and my battery life on the earphone buds when I pulled them out to use them was at 76% after sitting in the charging that many days. Makes zero sense! And yet I can pick up my Cambridge Audio M100 right now and they will still be at 100% after not using them for a month. It’s not excusable, truly. In a perfect world my top 5 list would have gone like this…
