So, with the world of bluetooth hype all over the Az100’s, I thought I would get the silver one and give my wife the black ones. This way, we can both sport the leading hype of 2025 as we prepare for her cruise. I did this same thing last generation with the Technics when I kept the silver and gave the black away.
For me, the silver one just looked more like me, and to top it off, it was nicked name “Satoru,” just like my PC set up theme. It is a very fitting name based on one of the most celebrated newer characters and anime, Satoru Gojo. The white and silver just fit the looks of things for me.
So things have really progressed in the better direction since my decision to remove all my other earphones. It’s so much easier to pick up the one earphone without trying to decide which one I want or which one sounds better today. I spent the majority of my time putting myself under undo pressure to figure out differences that I forgot to just listen to music.
I don’t even go into this assuming that the Az100 won’t be beat because the pi8 and gemini 2 still can be said are better in sound, at least. This is my choice for #1 based on more than just sound, but the overall boxes checked, for me subjectively. I’m done trying to prove to others things objectively for bluetooth because 90% is subjective in the first place. So buy whatever makes you happy people and don’t waste more time justifing it than you do listening and enjoying it. That’s my best advice for all.
