The world of audio bluetooth choices will never match the choices of the IEM world. There are really only about 5 bluetooth that, realistically, even are celebrated yearly. But on the iem side of things, it’s a different story. You would find it almost impossible to buy every IEM that is respected yearly. But with bluetooth, it’s different. You could buy every top earphone released yearly if you wanted. I know because I’ve done it before:)

Every time I tell myself not to fall for it .. I do it again and again. Some hyped up, new earphones promise to be the greatest of all time, and I cave in curiosity, even when I tell others not to fall for it. And what fuels the continuation of this habit is 70% of the time, there is truth to it. So this makes me believe that I could be wrong about ignoring this one, and I go and get it. So here we go again with the new Noble Audio Rex5, aka Green Lantern! It has once again proven to be the best sounding earphone out today, defeating the Gemini 2’s and Pi8’s sound dominance(by a small margin ). But again, the same issue springs up. It’s better, but only by a small amount.

Even against my absolute favorite earphones, the Az100’s, it’s only better by handful of areas in sound. It’s has more detail, little more power, and a little better tonality. While the Az100 still wins battery life, app, anc, hear thru, and cost, all while have amazing sound quality still. And with the Gemini 2 and Pi8, there are even fewer differences and / or advantages. But if you just look for who edges or beats them, yes, you will see the Fokus Rex5 at the top for looks, comfort, and sound subjectively if you a/b them after your EQ mods.

But, what again is proven, to me, is that every single one of these on the table above have everything anyone needs in their life for earphones. It’s why I’m selling 2 out of the 4 and could end up with 1 out of 4 standing as my only earphone by the time things are over. None of these stuff was ever needed and I keep making this mistake by not listening to this fact. So again, let me be clear, if you own any of these, don’t feel like you need something else. While there may be better this or that…at this price range and performance range, the differences aren’t great enough to justify buying another to get a .5 difference. Every single one of these earphones could be your endgame.
