That’s it, people, you probably guess this conclusion, I haven’t been the same since the release of the Technics Az100’s. It’s been my number one overall earphone since I got it. And for those just as affected by them as I am, I don’t think any of those people feel any different. I made the mistake of not taking them with me out of the U.S. and couldn’t wait to get back to them. The moment I walked into my house after 7 days away, I picked them up and took up right where I left off.
Yes, I learned a lot about all my earphones. The ones I’m selling and the ones I hadn’t yet decided to sell or keep. I learned what’s important and what’s not important. And through it all, I learned about me and the reason I go through suffering when I have multiple items and continue to buy them or not completely get rid of them.
This is why I have the need to remove all these others from my life because, for me, this isn’t a fun marry-go-round anymore. It’s become a stressed area when it’s supposed to be a place where I go and hide and disappear from the world. And yet these choices have tainted my happy place and turned it into a dimension where I can’t fully escape, and it’s just not a good thing for my life. Frankly, not for anyone.
I got so tired of having to pick from listening to my music and listening to my wife whenever she called my name for something. The Az100 earphone actually had a great hear thru compared to the pi8, and Rex5 and had an off mode compared to the Gemini 2. I got tired of having sounds in ANC, which is actually magnified like it does in the Pi8 or Rex5 instead of actually blocking out sound like it does in my Az100. My Az100 do such a good job vs them. I can talk on the phone in the middle of the busy street and still be heard with my Az100, not the case with the pi8,Gemini 2, and Rex5. I got tired of double tapping all over the place and not registering at times, instead perfect custom controls of single tapping on my Az100. Most of all, I got tired of checking on my battery life and worrying if they charged back up to 100% yet or drained out without using them. With my az100 superior battery life and charging times, things like the pi8, Gemini 2,and Rex5 were destroyed in this category.
Then finally, THE BIGGEST TURN OF EVENTS IS SOUND… the sound that registered 9.7 out of 10 orginally, which still included the very best timbre, one of best tonality and tunning, Best bass, and vocals placed inside a distortions free sound ever in Bluetooth and tied for the best immersion levels I’ve never experienced, thanks to a EQ adjustment recent have now taking THE TOP spot in Sound now for all Earphones I own. . All this for $299 vs. $400-$500. It’s a magical package from top to bottom line, not just in sound or comfort. You even have the best reliability I’ve ever heard in Bluetooth. You don’t have to pick people. It’s what every earphone should strive for and the one you’ve always wished for. This is the only Earphone you will need in 2025.
