Look there is no doubt that the earphone game has been strong for the last couple of years. The Denon perl Pro is the one earphone in the world today that absolutely kills the game at the price that they finally dropped to. This previous $350 product had every bit of the tech that one needs to compete against everyone. In fact for a very long time, they wert pretty much the default best in the world for sound.

They were unique and odd looking but with still a touch of class and quality about them. They also had amazing tech that really mailed the sound quality and took advantage of your own ear gain in frequency sensitivity automatically and delivered the best sound quality you pretty much had ever heard in your life.

But when these things dropped to $149-$199 everywhere, it was a flat out crime. You can go get them all and they don’t compete with this units in sound and features at this price. One could easily say at this price and sound ability they could be your endgame or best ever with no need to move forward with anything else.

Then to really kill everyone in the world today they have monthly payment option available for buying the Perl Pros. You can go get the Az100 or the Cambridge audio, or even the Sonys or Sennheiser. They don’t do beat these at this price let alone able to beat them in just sound alone. Sure it’s not perfect. They have to fit your ears and you have to appreciate their look in your ears. Some just don’t like the flat disk look. For me I love it with that glossy silver wrap on the edge. It looks high tech and classy at the same time for me. Then there is a case that you may not like as well as the later design pocket friendly cases of the earphones coming out lately.

But ultimately I’m not going to lie, I have no real solid reason why this is not higher on my list anymore and or why it’s not even #4 at the very least. The sound is that good, the fit is that good, and the battery life is decent for the earphones (not the case though). Overall, I’m telling you that I can’t say that there is something that justifies itself being clearly better in sound over these, just being honest but maybe the Az100, PI8’S , or Gemini 2. And even if they can, it’s again one of those 5-10% better things again. So it’s without hesitations that I can say pick these up at $150-$199 and move on with your life. Nothing else is better enough to pay for the difference once you get these if you truly just don’t think paying more for very small differences ever amounts to anything. Yes, I would even say get these over my favorite, Az100( $299) because of the difference in price that won’t be made up in sound vs price difference.
