Thieaudio has been praised throughout the years for one IEM or another like many brands these days who are making IEM’s having become an art form which is not easily dismissed these days. But where Thieaudio is different is that I haven’t ran into more iconic models that have been considered endgame IEMs from any one brand as much as it has been Thieaudio. This is something the company should take great pride in.

Their iconic cases are just associated with quality. You already know when you see such a case that something is great inside it. The boxes they ship in as well are pieces of art and really give you a sense of quality. Once open, you see their labor of quality in the shell designs. They are beautiful pieces of art and stand out amongst the pack of others.

The IEMs accessories come with the perfect case and most come with the different attachments for ports without the need to have another cable. Having access to 4.4, 2.5, and 3.5 connectors means you have options most others don’t always give you in the box. They even manage to give a cleaning cloth to keep that shell looking shiny and pretty with its jet black belly.

If it’s not the Monarch Mk2’s, Oracle Mk2 or MKIII, the Prestige, or even the Hype 4 just to name a few. Every single time they release, they are resulting in the very best sound in their price range and higher. They punch higher than their price tag in every single result. This is something to be proud of with respect to the company’s direction and in house tuning. They push for the all important perfection in perfect flat mids in their direction in all their IEMs and this results in realism, timbre, vocal mastery, and proper tonality.

This is why their IEM keeps winning awards every year. They know what they are doing and have found a balance in their sound quality that most miss. They truly sound next level and special in their approach and is easily one of the more comfortable IEM on the market as well. Best yet they don’t have problems. No shell casing falling off. No wires going green, no embalanced drivers, truly no problems. They last for years so what you have today, will be what you have tomorrow because they don’t easily show wear and rarely break.

At the end of the day which brand you pick is up to you. Even if Thieaudio is your destination the model you pick is up to you. Each one with their own place in their pantheon. For me, the creation of the Oracle MKIII’s with thier bass and treble adjustments puts them on the path of Monarchs Mk2 but at a much cheaper cost hence my endgame. The Monarch Mk2’s were my endgame before their sound quality was almost matched by a $589 IEM. So with its impact2 subwoofer(the best quality and slam of Bass ever done in an IEM that doesn’t bleed or bloat) system in the Oracle Mk3 I have the Monarch Mk2’s at a more affordable cost and smaller size.

This results in the dismissal of the Variations. Those would have lasted as my endgame if they had enough mid bass and if not for getting the Oracle MKIII or the Nova. Those two were the kryptonite of the Variations. One proved that the sound quality could be surpassed and the other proved the frequency response could be matched. I couldn’t justify all three and with the Oracle MKIII being better in every way to the Variations and costing the same, the decision was easy with the Truthears Nova in my hands too.
