There are plenty of people in the world that is about get mad at me. But for me the Bose QC Buds 2024(aka Sandman) are the only earphones I’ve ever owned that lived up to the price while delivering well over what my expectations were for them. They under promised and delivery well and above what they promised. Their sound is amazing and powerful. It has a very nice EQ and a bass that is in line with IEMs. Their ANC actually works and better than 95% of the earphones out. Their hear-thru actually works and is better than 95% of the earphones, and even the phones calls are good.
As I set in my room trying to come up with another earphone to trust because I have yet again come to earphones that cuts out randomly or does do something the way they promised. I pulled deep from the back of my drawer and forgot that I had these. I put them in and of course after months in my draw and forgotten, the battery life was still 100%! And that alone reminded me again, that battery life doesn’t have to be drained because you don’t use them for a couple of days or hours like most try to lie that this is normal(aka pi8 Bowers and wilkins). But then when the sound hit and the bass hit and the comfort melted into my ears, I was sitting here trying to understand just what the heck was I thinking.
Thats when I remembered that the last time I left off from these, it was not because I found a flaw. It had no true flaws from me wanting maybe a little better phone calls ANC for other people listening to me. Other than that it worked as promised and it was amazing in doing so. The battery life was just sick with over 8 hours per charged, and in some cases over 10 hours or more. Something they under promised on.
This earphone also is great for podcast, music, even asmr. The comfort was perfect and the overall size in your ears don’t look like science experiments. If I’m honest with myself, I never really had a reason to move on from these amazing earphones that only cost $149 other than FOMO. And I fear that this is really the only reason why this earphone is overlooked by many. They are minimalistic and not flashy and the cost is affordable so people fell they aren’t on the same level, when they actually surpass 90% if not more earphone available today especially in cost to performance.
Is this the best of all earphones…of course not. I don’t believe it even exist and if it does something always comes around that is better or something goes wrong with it, like it did with mine and my Noble Rex5’s disconnections. But I can tell you it’s amazing, reliable, and is overlooked especially at its price. And the best part… They work every time I use them and are reliable.
