The Bose QC Buds II came out years ago. When they did, they came out with a sound quality that was above its time. It was fantastic and memiced IEM bass and separation. Over time many interactions of the Bose QC have been released, including the ultras which look like twins of the QC Buds II’s.

Even today I still have my Bose QC Buds II. They sound fantastic and one could truly still say they are within the top 5 sounding earphones still today, if not higher. This is a huge compliment for such an older model. They have even updated them through firmware during the years. These updates have provided this unit trust and stability in use.

The ANC and Hear through all work like Bose’s foundation. Nothing to disappoint there nor can you find anyone who is not crazy, who challenges this. The timbre is great, holographic imaging, the separation is great, the fit is great, and at $199 after all these years, it’s a serious option for anyone not willing to spend more than that. Even friends of mine still use the QC’s and haven’t bought another Bluetooth earphone sense. They last, and that is what is missing in a lot of tech these days. I didn’t pick these up from my shelf to a dead battery because it drained out after over a year or more of not using them. We all know Bowers and wilkins earphones would be in trouble if you went even 1 month of none use. So when you look at how old these are and yet how great they still sound and operate(like new, right out of the box), it’s truly legendary for Bose to keep putting out great products like this that last.
