There are times in the world that one faces overwhelming amounts of things that over do ideas and and concepts and visions. A great idea is like a virus and once it over exposes, we can sometimes get a herd immunity to it. Now, today, nobody is impressed with compasitive touch screens and touch screen keyboards. But when the iPhone came out, this changed everything. It hit and forever changed the way we looked at our phones, and then Apple did the same thing with the iPads and the rest was history.

For a while I’ve found a similar concept in headphones. They are all so much alike in their approach. They have all bought into this idea of huge designs that look like science experiments. They are all pushing for over pushed treble and bass that is pretty much dead in emotion. They have also forgotten how to create things that last for the idea of having others buy the next product the make the next year. They also make them so nonaccessible to repair or address any failure as to tie the consumer to shipping their products off.

Well, Meze Audio have a different approach and heritage that doesn’t follow the norm. Their build quality is first over all. With Legacy build ideas that last for your life and even can be passed down to your sons or daughters. The wood, the metal, and zinc used along with the suspension spring design are meant to last way longer than most other headphones makers out there. Their products has such a unique feel and comfort to them that no other brands equals them. Their pads last longer than ones we typically see from Sennheiser, for example.

Meze’s Romania heritage bleeds from their products and lies within the foundation of their companies direction towards the building of their products. Every single little detail in the drivers, pads, casing material, and even the box itself tells a story about their heritage and their commitment to their longevity of their products.

I have never seen or held such beauty and quality from a headphone in my life. This is the truth of the matter, to put it plainly.  And I bet most people couldn’t dispute this statement. There are tons of oversized huge contraptions called headphones everywhere. But they don’t look like these. And once that’s understood and the sound comes into play and it’s just as beautiful, expansive, rich, emotional, and unique as it’s build quality, everything falls into place.

This headphone is the first tech product  outside of my IWC watch that I can say truly that I could pass this onto my Son. It’s not just one thing, it’s the whole package and that’s exactly the answer given to the question. To be unique you must deliver on all fronts. Not just in sound, not just in comfort, not just in presentation, not just in longevity, and not just in reasonable cost. You have to do it all on all fronts. This is what Meze did with this product, the 109 pro.
