A little while back, Sony released the Xperia 1VI before their latest flagship VII. Now of course that release didn’t happen in America connected to any cellphone company or in stores. It was one of the first full size non candy bar shaped Xperia. It was also the one you needed to avoid the overheating issues. It was also the one that put in an amazing 2 day battery life. And it was the one that utilized the amazing screen graphics from the Bravia tech as well. This allowed the screen to look better than 90% of the smartphones out there, if not more. For instance, it looks better than my Samsung s26 ultra even though it has less resolution on paper, which is just sick.

On top of all that it has an amazing camera that I can shoot some incredible shots on. I mean it’s pretty much the perfect phone. And this is before you get to the audio abilities and option for connection with 3.5 ports still. And finally the sure ability to hold it in your hands and put it into your pocket at the perfect form factor that doesn’t get in the way or cause you to deal with holding issues because of the over sizing of the phone.

Now because it’s not in the American market you will have to buy it on ebay or overseas. It also won’t show 5G+. The speeds are fast with LTE + and never slows me down and I can’t ever tell the difference myself. But it’s worth it if you ask me. It’s a very smart phone that understands your needs and gives you the power and option to make it happen. I even love their keyboard.. It’s the best I’ve ever used. It constantly corrects my errors and sentence structure that I make mistakes with sometimes in almost real time. It’s not like spelling checks or even grammerly where you have to go back and correct things and some stuff is missed. Not with Sony’s keyboard software that’s built into their Xperia 1 VI .

I can’t believe that I was about to sell this phone and I’m really pissed that I got the Samsung s26 now. The only thing I will miss about that phone is Samsung pay, if I’m honest. Not saying that Samsung s26 ultra isn’t a great phone. It’s just not as amazing in my opinion as the Xperia 1VI. Plus, you can find people everywhere that have a Samsung but rarely do you run into people who have the Xperia.
