There is nothing more disconnected than to be in place that doesn’t connect to you. The world of Audio is a very complex and confusing place at times. It’s a world that claims to welcome all people into its subjective world but once inside, you find too many times that it’s very tribal in its indevers. And the so-called subjective freeness turns into so-called objective facts used to boost someone’s biased views over someone else’s. And it’s that world that I don’t understand.
But then there is another world. A world where I go inside my head and around me that my Cayin DAP N6III and my 64 Audio UIEMs Solo(new nickname “Marcel Gerard”) create. When I go into this world, nothing else matters. I’m free from the chaos of this life and world. The world’s problems disappear, the chaos of society and social media disappear, the hate and evil of the world doesn’t exist. If it’s not Asmr, Podcast, House, Classical, or the vocals mastery of Enya, its ambient worlds of music that just pulls me in.
I know it’s temporary and once I hit stop, everything comes back the way I left it. Back to reality. But the good thing is when you come back, you take with you a little more strength that you didn’t have before. You take with you just a little more peace than you had before. With you, into your spirit it goes and helps you get through the hours you have to spend being stuck into the world others make around you instead of the ones you get to allow the music to create for you. Ultimately, you know it won’t be too much longer before you can return back to your world and that helps you even more.
Find your own world and escape. That’s my advice for others. If you don’t, this world and all that it places upon all of us will eat at you until there isn’t much left. So rather that’s music, art, reading, or simply taking a swim. Find it, use it, and make time to go there. This world is too cruel to exist solely inside its toxicity, hate, and twisted sense of right and wrong.
