It’s finally here folks! Spotify finally released their promised lossless codex streaming after years of waiting and not delivering. I’m not one for being impatient about a lot of things but this one was a little much to ask for. The wait was entirely too long, if I’m being honest. I was solely about one streaming company for years until the broken promises of this feature failed year after year. I went to Apple and Tidel just to use lossless steaming and canceled my subscription to Spotify for years.

Honestly speaking I hated every moment. Because despite having lossless abilities with Apple and Tidel, for me none of them had the AI like Spotify did. I mean I could go hours without hearing a single song that didn’t fall into my favorite list. Once Spotify had your taste and style they absolutely nailed it for you moving forward. With Apple and Tidel … You would be lucky if you could go 10 minutes or less without having to skip songs that they played based on your likes.

And then there was the amazing Podcast of Spotify originals, like Batman Unburied and many other podcast and ASMR Channels that I absolutely loved. Things like that are what I was giving up and missed every year I was gone. But now with the lossless promise finally active, I’m back. I pulled over all of my playlist from Apple and Tidel to Spotify with the help of the a playlist sync software and it was almost immediately that Spotify took up right where I left off with amazing AI suggestions songs that played based on my likes. But this time their quality was noticably better. Now of course some argue it’s still not as pure as the others but if there is some truth to it, it’s not enough to me to not return to Spotify and leave the others behind. I immediately canceled my Tidel subscription as a example. It was the weakest app for my taste. I never could get the best from it song selections or get use to the interface.

Now, once you do get Spotify lossless, be sure to turn it on. Unfortunately, it just doesn’t assume that you want the very best. This takes all of a few seconds and the results will be heard, trust me. The music is louder, textured more, cleaner, and more dynamics exist along with separation of instruments in tracks better. All the things true audiophile look for. The only thing you need to make sure is that you are using earphones and headphones that can take advantage of this quality and you have good enough Internet speeds for it. Because it’s not any good to anyone if they are not taking advantage of it. So be sure to check out the lossless quality of Spotify when you get the chance. It might redeem things for you if you have left.
