One word… “Thieaudio”. Has there been a more consistent banger IEM released company in the last few years? You can make the argument that Thieaudio is that company who knows how to release the proper amount of different prices and technology that seem to follow a harmony of performance to cost ratio. You go get everything from the Hype, to the Monarch, and of course the Valhalla, all of them have their following and different prices that actually fit their level of tech and performance. None of them from the cheapest to the most expensive lack in the quality one should expect from item you paid the money for.
No other brand I’ve seen creates the consistency of cheaper to more expensive products, and yet maintains the level of quality each one does while delivering consistent sound quality and dependable results. Not a single one you buy makes you feel like the sound is bad and in all cases always punches above its weight.
Even things like their $500 lineup of Oracles stand head and shoulders over its competitors in this price range from other manufacturers. They compete against other manufacturers $1000 IEMs. Let that sink in for a second.
They just know how to prioritize that all important mid-range more consistent than any other brand. That aim for the ruler flat mid zone is seen throughout their lineups at all prices. It’s what makes their lush thickness weight in vocals and realism stand out with the timbre of their sound from instruments as well.
Now I’m not saying there are no other IEMs that are good like them. I’m saying that the sure number of bangers they produce at the diversity of price, quality, and performance isn’t matched as consistent as it is with Thieaudio. And they deserve a lot of credit for such a feat. I’ve brought more IEMs from them than any other brand and I can’t see that one sided result ever turning to something different. And that’s in part of the Valhalla release as well. As far as $2000 this is the best there is, for me. So what’s next? Is this an end game? If there is truly a Endgame worth IEM …this is it. In fact this is revolutionary IEM both and the first IEM I would have paid more for and is actually is worth the price. I have never believed this about expensive IEMs before.
