It’s been a some years since the release of the AirPod Max. Apple most certainly did their thing with the launch and overall cult following of this product since its launch. For a while now the AirPod Max were the top celebrity product to have. And with that comes everyone’s assumption that this product is the best. So this drives non celebrity people to buy them as well.
So if I’m Apple, the last thing you do is drop a 2nd gen Max too early. Most believed and swore that Apple was going to release the last two events and they didn’t. But it would not shock me if they do a slight of hand on the world this event. While everyone is talking about the IPhone, Apple Watches, and of course the magical Vision, this would be a amazing cherry on the top to introduce AirPod Max 2.
Now of course I’m just guess myself and could be wrong here but then again I could be right. I mean, look at the market, look how many refreshes have happens and are about to happen. Bose is about to release their new line up, Sennheiser has already put out their latest headphone. Sony and others have too. Isn’t time for Apple’s grand entry? This is normally how they do it aways so why not hit when the people less expect it, even if they don’t come out until Christmas.
I would imagine that it will be cheaper this time through, at least I would hope so. Of course they will address the overall weight and case issues and this would be all they need to really start a craze. I don’t even think they have to do anything different with the sound or ANC to be successful. Just getting a cheaper, lighter weight device with better case along with some fancy color options would do trick but we will have to wait and see on the 12th. Hope I’m right!
