Possibly the greatest “sounding” bluetooth earphone ever made is on sale again for $319. I frankly didn’t think this sale would come back anytime soon, but it has. $19 bucks more than the Az100… isn’t too shaby at all, folks! Yes, it’s not exactly where I would love it at $299. But at this time, after being with it as another week away from the U.S. on a cruise, I have since become reattached to it. It has once again destroyed my joys from other earphones. Nothing sounds like the Pi8 on the market of Bluetooth. I can tell how great other earphones are but they have something similar in their approach. I can take the Rex5 which is the most advanced sounding earphones(not necessarily making it the best sounding, I made that mistake), and yet it sounds similar to Az100 and the Az100 sound similar to the Az80 or something else. They all just have more here or there than the others, making one better than the others.

But not the Pi8’s! They have nothing equal to them because they go into an area of spectrum that others don’t follow, if that makes sense. They basically play on their own playground. It’s almost like Nintendo does for gaming. If you like Nintendo types of games, there is another console that will be similar. This is what the Bowers and Wilkins brand does. It creates a special music tonality, timbre, separation, and balance unmatched in bluetooth and if you like it, you can try and move from it all you want, you won’t find a equal or better direction for the music presentation than from Pi8’s. Trust me, I’ve spent hundreds of dollars trying to move away from them because I was upset with the company. At the end of the day, I was never able to replace them no matter how many times I thought I convinced myself I had.

I hated their beauty because they made me want to use them even though I didn’t want to because of the battery drainage. So I sent them away back to manufacturer to get a exchange in hopes of stopping the battery drainage issues, thinking out of sight ..out of mind and all it did was make me suffer when they were away. When they came back, I felt lucky to have them even though the battery drainage problem still existed. I even took them with me on my trip and all that back and forth just to end up accepting that they truly are the best in sound despite the battery complaint.

So I say all that to tell you I’ve never gone through as much with a earphone in my life and it’s only because of what it’s able to do in sound/comfort that is truly irreplaceable. So, at $319, even with the battery drainage conplaint, I can fully understand why someone might want to make this purchase, especially if this is the only earphone you are going to use daily, like most sain people (unlike stupid me). That way, if you use it daily, you are less affected by the drainage because it only happens during non-use days.
