I’m guilty as charged for falling for this whole concept of Budget terms whenever something is more affordable than the more expensive products on the market. But I’m here to change that now. The Earphone Air Pro isn’t a Budget Hit. It’s a Hit that just so happens to fit under affordable budgets. Ever since their Original Air Pro 4, I have given them a lot of credit for shaking up the industry for high-cost earphones. But this year, they truly outdid themselves. They continue their winning ways of making sure that every single feature that matters is in the hands of the consumer. 10 Band EQ is Killer. Their complete custom touch controls, Killer. Their Battery life, KILLER. Their app, the fit, phone call, ANC, the quality…all top-notch. Basically, all the things other earphones brag about, they have accomplished just like them or better than them. And this is all before we get to the Star of the Show, the Sound.

They have managed to do something others in this field have rarely done, and that is to go down their own road and design. They thought outside the box and looked into Sound and made things better. Their sound is crystal clear, detailed with excellent instrument separation, and yet dynamic and powerful where it needs to be, thanks to their new design of drivers. And as I listened to this over the span of a couple of days and touched up the EQ to my liking, the sound started becoming shocking. It was to the point that I started questioning all my bluetooth earphones because these $75 earphones were outperforming them or matching them. I mean, I have or had them all, from the Bowers and Wilkins, Bang and Olufsen, Sonys, Sennheiser, Bose, even Devialet’s, and others. All of these Earphones run from $300-$500 MSRP. Even my Earphone of the year, the Technics Az100, fell short of these Earphones in sound quality overall and in overall battery life. Let this sink in a bit for yourself. It is to the point that I’m afraid that I will need to make the EarFun Air Pro 4+ my New Earphone of the Year 2025, taking this away from the AZ100 at the last minute, which I didn’t think would happen this year, with only 2 weeks or so left in the year.

EarFun has done what I told everyone to watch out for with the Air pro 4. They have taken the Bluetooth world and turned it on its head, and are making big-time, expensive companies that lead the market to answer to their overpricing because they shined a light on things. It makes zero sense that a company like EarFun can produce this level of sound, features, fit, and battery life, and yet only charge $75 while all these other earphone companies charge hundreds of dollars more than them and deliver no better product and in most cases produce far less results in things like Battery life and or features, but still charge and justify. Even their case design is very pleasing and kinda of addictive opening and closing, along with the minimalist packaging, which so many people seem to want these days. They even manage to deliver every single Codec for Sound you can ask for. All while delivering Auracast features to their Earphones again.

The only thing I can find that isn’t what it should be is their wear detection at times. I find that I have to bypass this option, as it doesn’t work well with my ears randomly. My music keeps pausing despite my attempts to use smaller tips. And it seems they are aware of this for some people’s ears, hence the warning already embedded in the app(above). And speaking of tips, my tip is that you don’t use the default ones…they are bigger than most medium tips that come preinstalled on earphones these days. I found that a smaller Medium was in the case, and they fit my ears much better than the ones that come default on the units. Bottom line the Award is being taken from the Az100. The $75, while not the ONLY reason why it’s the New Champ, does prove and calls out all other earphone makers for charging what they charge for the results their products produce. If this company can produce this kind of result in sound and give us amazing results in battery life and features, why not them? So Congratulations EARFUN!!!!! YOU DESERVE SO MUCH APPRECIATION FOR YOUR EFFORTS AND HARD WORK!!!!!!!!!!
