It’s time for me to accept where things are going. Things happen for a reason. The Sony XM6s, as great as they are, might not be my choice anymore for the best-sounding and best overall earphone on the planet. Shocker, right? I finally accept that there are things that just don’t work for me with the Sonys like they do with the Buds 4 Pro. But all of this didn’t take hold until I turned on these toggles and set my EQ up properly.

This was the start of everything going south for my assumptions about the XM6s. Thanks to the amps and dual drivers mixed with these adjustments above, I got incredible results. And when you combine this with flat out the best feature EVER on any earphone, Samsung’s voice controls (without command words), it made a convenient combo that is unstoppable, powerful, and far superior to anything on the market today.

Adding to this combo is the Fold 7. Game-changing thinness and game-changing lightweight without feeling cheap. The power behind this unit is legendary stuff from Samsung. The graphics are outstanding, especially unfolded. It truly replaces my tablets and e-readers. It’s so convenient to have this one device that can be whatever I want it to be. I also think it’s playing a part in the quality of sound I’m getting from Bluetooth as well. It sounds better than my S25, and I’m not on the latest OS yet. So I’m not sure what they did differently with the Bluetooth coding, but it has more holographic imaging and separation.

The only thing I was concerned with was the battery life compared to my previous Samsung. I knew I was going to have a lower result but didn’t know how much. Turns out I’m still making it to bed using the phone exactly like I want with 30% still intact at 11 pm. So I’m good with that result. As long as I don’t have to plug in before bed, I’m good.

Overall, the ability of this combo to be lightweight and convenient is huge. I didn’t realize how much the lightweight design and fit of the Buds 4 Pro made a difference. I can wear them all day and not feel a single thing. Best of all, they actually helped with the tinnitus humming I was experiencing with the Sony XM6s for some reason after sessions with them. Not sure why yet, but I’m guessing it has something to do with the type of seal foam delivers and how deep they go versus silicon tips and the slightly shallower fit of the Buds 4 Pro. So yes, all of this, including A.I. connection, voice controls for Google, and the ability to read my text message I get without picking up my phone or touching my earphone is like Apple, only better.
