Well, in Teknthings fashion, when there is greatness, there must be a name. And although the Abyss family has already named these headphones appropriately, JOAL, I think it is fitting for a nickname. So when I look at this product and all that it stands for, and the nature of the color scheme present on these Abyss headphones, something stands out for me. It reminds me of a character most people are familiar with—a character who is also a jack of all trades, who carries one gadget or another, who is resourceful and stealthy.

“The Dark Knight, himself… ‘The Batman’.” This is the nickname I’ve given the Abyss JOAL, now known as “The Batman.” It’s rugged and tough, bulletproof, and dark like the night. If there were headphones on Batman’s desk in the Batcave, they would be the Abyss JOEL, don’t you think?

So there you go, my shot at the nickname for the greatest earphone I have ever had in my life. One of the greatest of all time, in my opinion. The one that even defeats the Ab1266 and even iterations of the Dianas, according to Joshua Valor and DMS, which are $3-$4k headphones by Abyss. And look, I know it’s all subjective, but it’s my subjective take. Sure, I can find haters everywhere, and yes, I’m sure someone out there will have some off-the-wall experience that claims that Abyss sucks or isn’t worth the money. I would debate those people, but it’s better to allow people to be wrong about their opinions than to waste your time teaching :)).I’m kidding!! Or am I? Look, at the end of the day, I can’t wear your ears for you, nor can you wear mine for me. All I can say is that this has truly been magical, and I’ve never had a better experience.
