These Sennheiser MTW4s and their sound personalizer have created a sound so perfect to my ears that they have not only made my other Bluetooth earphones irrelevant, but they are now taking aim at my headphones and IEMs! Now let that sink in, audiophiles. I am sitting here listening to the track below and my mind has gone into another dimension. The detail and soundstage this song creates by itself was already a test track, but these earphones completely took this song to a whole other level, a level I didn’t experience in even some of my headphones plugged into my desktop amp and DAC running off an XLR cable!
There is no way these earphones should be performing like this, and yet they are. The Momentum True Wireless 4 are becoming unstoppable, no matter what I put up against them. It is to the point that I no longer want to compare them to anything for fear of starting to question the purpose of doing so. I have my $2,000 Valhallas and the 64 Audio Solos, and I am not sure I want to find out how they perform against these yet. I wont lie; it still hurts that these have such dominant results over all my other Bluetooth earphones. It has reached the point where it is a joke to even consider putting anything else in my ears. I already have a way to replace the battery to keep these active for years to come. This is really turning into my Endgame. I literally do not know how any Bluetooth earphones will be able to do what these do, even in the next two or three years. It is that big of a gap. Again, at least for my ears!
