The world of foldables has already been injected with new hype since the iPhone Duo announcement on both sides of the fence. Even Samsung gained more market share with its Fold 8, which will go head-to-head with the Duo. So, be prepared for a huge amount of videos and comparisons.

The culture of Apple finally has a brand new phone that doesn’t operate like any other iPhone in history. They have an iPhone that doesn’t look like any other iPhone in history, and then they top it off with the Apple experience of gimmicks not found anywhere else in the world of smartphones (this year). Samsung will be celebrating because they also know the impact of the Apple logo. They get money for the screen, so Apple’s success is still theirs. But ultimately, it is going to become one of those things that might lead people to Samsung out of the understanding that what Apple is doing isn’t exactly what they want. But for the rest of the smartphone lovers, the FOMO will be real. The movie stars and athletes will be out and about flashing the hottest tech of the year, the iPhone Duo. And the jealousy will be real, even coming from Apple lovers who got stuck with the iPhone 18 Pro.
At the end of the day, Apple knows this is the biggest thing they have done in years and should be proud of their entrance into the foldable world. The only problem they will face concerns from are those who were told their flagship smartphone was the iPhone 18, when in fact this phone is more important than the 18 Pro, even without them claiming it or labeling it a flagship.
