I walk every day, just about. I try to get in a Mile or more every day for stress relief and exercise. Well, as you can imagine, earphones are a big part of that walk. One thing that has been happening that I’m just now starting to realize, since the honeymoon phase is over for the Sennheiser, is that the pressure-boom effect that I hear while walking with the Sennheisers is greater than with any other earphones I have. What I mean is that the vibration of natural weight shift to the ground while you walk, and the foot makes contact with the ground. It can cause a boom effect in your earphones. Now, with most earphones, that effect is barely noticeable. But for some reason, I guess the design of the earphones’ shape and how they sit in my ears creates way more boom effects in my ears. It’s like getting hit with air pressure inside your ears while being sealed, like a cabin pressure effect.

Now, on a good day, this pressure is bad, but if I have even the slightest headache, it makes it almost unbearable. Now, some other people in the world could take this and not feel a thing. So I’m not going to pretend this is a flaw in the design of the earphones. It could just be me and my senstivity to air pressure. But I thought I would at least bring this up for those of you who do walking and running with your earphones. This could be something that bothers you too. So just a quick warning.
